Research Manager wanted for the SST team
We are pleased to be able to offer a part-time job for a research manager, following the very sad passing of Charlotte Ayton-George. This is 0.5 fte appointment to December 2025. You could work on-line remotely. In addition to your university research management skills and experience, an interest and appreciation of sound system culture or their equivalents in Latin America would be an advantage, as would Spanish or Portuguese.
The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the management and successful delivery of this ERC funded Consolidator grant and will report to Julian Henriques (PI). The job will include: overseeing the project’s program of work; timelines and events; managing financial resources and reports; and coordinating project publicity and communication including SST online research portal. The candidate will also develop a sound framework for interdisciplinary collaboration, data management/sharing and communications, to ensure the successful delivery of project objectives and outputs. The Project Manager will liaise with project researchers and partners via email, telephone, video link and face-to-face.
